Ibusuki Nanohana Marathon
The 29th Ibusuki Nanohana Marathon will be held on Sunday,January 10, 2010.This Nanohana Marathon is famous and popular in Japan.
There are over 15,000 entries, not only from across Japan but also from overseas countries such as Korea and Taiwan.
The Marathon course has many tourist spots such as, Lake Ikeda, Mt.Kaimon,
and Kagoshima's Flower Park, and You will also see Nanohana (rapeseed,
yellow flower) in blooming every where.
You will enjoy variety scenery.

ENTRY AGE From 19 years and upwards---42.195 kilometers
From 15 years and upwards--- 10 kilometers
ENTRY FEE RWOO (Yen Only)
FINISHER CERTIFICATE Certificates are for Finishers only, not entrants.
Finishers will receive a Certificate at the city gymnasium
at the end of the Race Day.
AWARDS Awards will be presented according to Ranking, Age Group,
the one who traveled the farthest, Oldest athlete, Couple,
Sister Cities participants.
SPECIAL PRESENTS 2 Tickets for Honolulu Marathon, 1 ticket for Chitose Marathon
and 1 ticket for Seoul Tour.
Winners will be selected by the lottery.
RACE DAY
RUNNER PROCEDURE At the city gymnasium on Saturday , Jan 9from 2 pm to 5:30 pm
(check-in) on Sunday , Jan 10from 7 am to 8 am .
START 42.195 km.course--- 9 am in front of the city community hall-nanohanakan
10 km.course --- 9:30 am in front of the city athletic field
FINISH City athletic field
Official close at 5 pm for 42.195 km.
10 km. will be close at 11 am .
OPENING CEREMONY At 4 pm on Saturday , Jan 9 at the city gymnasium.
AWARDS CEREMONY Awards for 10 km. --- At 12:30 pm at the city gymnasium.
Awards for 42.195 km. --- At 3 pm at the city gymnasium.
CLOSING CEREMONY After the Awards Ceremony .

PARKING Parking will be allowed in or near the gymnasium .
*Come by public transportation as if possible .
VALUABLES May be left with the Information Center or at the gymnasium.
REFRESHMENTS STATIONS Every 2.5 km. to 7.5 km. There are 14 Refresher Stations
